Uniting for Hope: China Instrument Parts & Iseli Instrument Team Up for a Season of Giving
As the holiday season approaches, China Instrument Parts is proud to have partnered with HOPE NOW, Inc. for our 9th consecutive year! Through ProjectPlus+ and its belief in the power of community, our employee-led community giveback initiative committee aims to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need, especially during the holiday season.
HOPE NOW, Inc., a cornerstone of support for Elkhorn School District residents, has been providing guidance, referrals, and financial assistance for 19 years. As the go-to charitable organization in our community, HOPE NOW has played a vital role in helping families navigate challenging times. This year, the need for assistance has risen by 25%, underscoring the importance of our collective efforts.
In 2022 alone, thanks to the generosity of the Elkhorn and Walworth County community and civic groups, HOPE NOW assisted 153 households with financial aid. This included $37,000 for rent/mortgages, $4,000 toward security deposits, $12,000 for utilities, $6,000 for auto repairs, and $2,000 for medical and miscellaneous expenses. These contributions have made a tangible difference, allowing families to stay in their homes, ensuring workers can commute to their jobs, and helping neighbors regain financial stability.
China Instrument Parts, along with its sister company, Iseli Instrument located in Walworth, WI, was matched with two families in Walworth County to fulfill their Christmas wish lists. The employees of both companies donated more than 85 gifts that equated to nearly $1,250 in necessities, toys and grocery, gas, and restaurant gift cards for the families. ProjectPlus+ committee members delivered these gifts to HOPE NOW, Inc. this week for the families to be able to open on Christmas Day!
